This year introduces a decade where the face of making music changes! This year no longer tolerates the fact that high-quality music-making can only be accessed by those who are not intellectually challenged, vulnerable or ‘non-musical’.
Conductology is the new, scientifically proven methodology that is changing music education and music-making. This new, innovative and highly creative way of creating and playing music, along with years of research, trials and findings, have proven that EVERYONE can participate in high-quality music-making.
Conductology was conceived due to the lack of focus, research and knowledge on music improvisation interventions or practices for intellectually disabled musicians. It was created in the quest to develop a high quality, participatory-led system which would open doors to creativity, inclusivity, and development of a plethora of skills. We can now, finally, begin to provide meaningful opportunities and a world of creative learning and progression. to everyone who participates in the Conductology methodology.
Conductology Entry Level comprises fun, practical and interactive learning, as well as written assessments and presentations.
The 12-hour programme contains 6 units consisting of:
Understanding music improvisation
Music improvisation practices for those with special/additional needs
Music improvisation process and product
Inclusive and creative music improvisation ensembles
Music improvisation in formal and informal music education

The Entry Level course is for anyone who wants to become part of this world-first methodology. It is for those who want to make a difference in how people, particularly the most vulnerable in society, access, create and play quality music.
